Net worth: $1 billion (in family trust he never fully inherited)
If JFK hadn’t been assassinated in 1963, experts predict he would have inherited $1 billion (adjusted to today's dollar). Both sides of his family were incredibly wealthy. His father was a prominent banker and the first chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Much of Kennedy’s wealth was locked up in family trusts. He also accumulated wealth through his marriage to Jacqueline, who was the granddaughter of a construction tycoon and daughter of an investment banker.
